Copenhagen
Will be visiting Copenhagen this Weekend. What should be on my list of must do's?
There for 3 nights and flying on SAS (Are they a good airline?)
Not too keen on shopping or clubbing prefer smaller pubs/bars/cafes.
Is it easy to get to the Carlsberg brewery/museum?

Re: Copenhagen
I fly SAS alot..excellent. The Glyptotek is a great museum to see. The
building itself is marvellous. Tons of cafes etc in Copenhagen. Take a
stroll down around Nyhavn. The bus advice to Carlsberg in an early post is
good.
You can check out what is going on at the Tycho Brahe Planetarium...maybe
take a canal boat tour. even if you don't like shopping..strolling down
Stroget is nice. There are several nice cafes on Stroget...perhaps the Cafe
Norden. Really great raspberry tarte.
Love to hear what you end up doing....btw..the aok.dk site mentioned is
really good.

Re: Copenhagen
Outside the Copenhagen railway station is
a place called TIVOLI, its worth spending an
evening going there. Shows, restaurants, bars
etc plus amusement area, rather unique.,
Go and see the Danish viking ship exhibition.
I think its at Rosskild or similar!!
Just for the experience, get on the train to
Sweden and go from Copenhagen to Malmo-C
across the 16 Km bridge and tunnel and then
get out at Malmo-C and catch another train back.
The train does 200Km/hr across the bridge.
Also, a local canal trip is worth the money.
You can get a ticket that allows yoiu to get off
and on again at various sites (be careful because
one other ticket doesnt allow getting off and on....check

I'm afraid it's closed at this time of the year.

Too late in the season I'm afraid (last trip seem to have been Oct20)
but you can always have a walk alongside the channels.

Also, Christianshavn (sp.?) is nice to stroll around if the weather's not
too cold.
