the same attitude is with every construction company in DUBAI, people have to wake up and remember the gravy boats empty.
too long here people have worked 7 days a week 12 hours a day and overtime has been part of the culture and living.
now companies cannot get paid off clients end of story.the guys at the bottom of the food chain are always the ones most effected and exploited and maybe thats not right but for far too long construction companies here have enjoyed the boom and reaped the rewards of working at 30-40% profit margins, thats unheard of anywhere else in the world.
firms will down size , cut cost , cut people and those who dont will not survive.
how do yo think construction firms get through a downturn? by making people do more for less and cutting its cost base, dubai likes to play by its own rules when the goings good but squeals like a pig when the going gets tough.
welcome to the real world!!
