We're pumping efforts into growing it.
Yeah I see a few PMC types knocking about, it's a bloody hard sell though here to the local clients.
A positive for me is that as the clients are so tight, if they take an international contractor they won't normally shell out for an international PMC, so there is an exponential decrease in contractual letter writing

We only work with the biggest of the big it would seem. Not because we're big time charlies, but because the rest fall over when we present rates.

Also, the quality of letter can decrease to simply raising two fingers in a meeting.

I see Round Table Pizza has closed down all it's branches.

Pity, they've been here since the 90s and were always decent.

Apparently you could actually buy at this one, which is the first since the big financial crash.
I was there. Seemed to be a lot of selling going on, more than usual that's for sure.

Shame, they were a long standing feature here and actually ok usually.

Lots of companies are going the way of the Dodo - few seem willing to change how they do things until it's too late. The focus is employ cheap, fight tooth and claw for discounts then don't pay vendors.

Would also appear that Nando's is getting taken over by Americana too.

Standards and expectations have gone up a lot. The influx of higher end American / western fast food have changed the dining scene expectations tremendously. Restos that don't adjust will fail.

Yup - applies to every business. Adapt or die. Toys R Us are learning this right now.
