Re: WC 2022
Never should have awarded it to Qatar, just ridiculous that such a tiny country with just 1 city gets the whole world cup. Couple that with the Temp & Humidity and the strict Islamic laws, and one has to wonder just how much money the Qataris doled out.

Re: WC 2022
I will not want to be here if Qatar lose the world cup, they will go nuts
If ooredoo give out free minutes when we win something, what fate will we meet if the country loses something?

They won't lose it, I do wonder what Blatter's agenda is, I'm sure he received a bung, maybe he wants more?

Re: WC 2022
The Dean's plan of action:
1 - switch it to winter (say, December) and to hell with other bidders who missed out
2 - in the season leading up to the tournament (21/22), each of the world's top leagues - for one season only - relegates FOUR teams and promotes only two. In the case of the Prem Lge, that reduces the number of teams from 20 to 18, thus requiring only 34 matches (17x2) instead of 38 (19x2).
3 - This gives a four-week (roughly) window when no League matches need to be played.
4 - next summer, relegate two and promote four.
5 - er........ that's it............

No - they grin and bear it................ they have nine years to prepare for the possibility............. it's normally three-up-and-three down, so it's only ONE more - this won't hurt for one season............

Re: WC 2022
Platini must of had the biggest envelope as he has championed a winter tournament..........
