Brad Pitt' acting is atrocious in roles like this. Just a caricature of the general. But some of the average soldiers portrayed, especially dealing with the challenge of the rules of engagement set by politicians, I thought were good. I have known several soldiers who described the inane rules of engagement they have to put up with.

My thoughts....

War Machine - Was alright....
Black Sails - started yesterday and it is indeed full of T&A. Again its alright......
Logan - A bit dissappointed if I am honest. Love the Wolverine films but this was a tad slow. Also I hate that prick (Ricky Gervais' mate) who plays the albino.

Started watching 'Bloodline' when I was on my hols and that looked decent but it doesn't seem to be on the ME Netflix ;-(

Also watched 'Top Boy' when away. If you're into your gritty Landan gansta ting (similar to Kidulthood etc) then its worth a look.

Just taken the plunge and started up my Netflix trial yesterday. So much to choose from, I think I might start with the House of Cards...

Just looked up Logan and it's not my cup of tea. Marvel / Superman / Captain America etc. Nah.

Top Boy - thanks, will investigate.

Logan and darker and more brutal than the other X-men films and general superhero ones. I found it overly violent but I am told that it is closer to the original comics which were quite dark.

money. the American legal system is so expensive.

I remember when the government was going after Michael Milken, he spent so much money on lawyers ( if I recall $1 million a month), that government was desperate to end the case as it was eating up too much of their lawyer time : so they went after his brother while offering him a settlement which he took.

I thought some of the character portrayals in American Crime Story weren't bad though.

Just watched the latest season (4) of Ray Donovan, great series. Think Landan gangsta does Los Angeles.

I think they're just not my cup of tea full stop. Like Sci-Fi.....but might give it a go on a flight or something.

Ray Donovan is good I agree. He's a decent actor (Logan's brother in Wolverine coincidentally).
