My friend is from Dumfries, near Lockerbie. He told me some stories of that night.
I recall him telling us how the local hoodlums (nowadays called chavs) took to the hills and raided all the luggage that was strewn all over the place.
How low is that!!

I'd been on that very same plane ("Clipper Maid Of The Seas") exactly ten days earlier, coming back in trhe other direction from JFK.
