...why are the girl to boy ones so much more convincing than boy to girl...just watched a programme about them, and the girls who get the op to become guys are actually believable, whereas the guys who become girls just look like guys in drag...

I honestly think that the female to male is more credible looking because the fems who undergo this op are born just a few tweeks& a few chromosomes off being masculine.They are rather androgynous to begin with-more Amelie Mauresmo(sp?) looking than Kylie, so the progression isn't so drastic.
