Default Tool shops (Car Folk)

Morning all,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any decent tools shops in Dubai / Sharjah etc.

I'm looking for a pair of spring compressors / clamps ( Like these http://www.google.co.uk/products/cat...ed=0CFQQ8wIwAQ) to allow me to fit some uprated suspension to my mates Mitsubishi Evo. We have all the pasts but we're just missing the clamps to allow us to compress the springs before we take them off.

I haven't checked ACE yet (although I am 100% sure they won't have them. I will also check in Speedex and Yellow Hat but I was wondering if anyone knew of any secret tool shops we should try.

Cheers in advance.

in a fix you can use 20mm threaded rods, nuts and washer plates to do this. Just watch those fingers

Thanks but I don't fancy that much! A spring going rouge can take your head off!

Ha ha,

The other redneck method is to use several million cable ties when the weight is on the car and then release and then reverse the process with the new ones...... either way, I'm to much of a pussy for that as the potential energy in compressed suspension springs is huge! Would probably fabricate up my own clamps before going down either of these routes.

Have you tried Speedex? Not sure which end of own you are but they are next to Oasis Center and carry a pretty diverse range of tools.
