sow hats everyone doing for NYE?
I have got tickets for me, my fella and my parents to go to Irish village.. only 250 dhs for Irish village or you can pay 1,000 and go to the cellar which is directly opposite and you get a meal and drinks in with the 1,000.

looking through NYE menu for a place I 'was' considering for NYE, until I saw this:

I was in Dubai last week and in one shop they were selling gold flakes for cooking with - obviously the latest thing to do. I'd rather wear it personally.
I will be meeting my 14 year old daughter off a flight from Oz where she'll have been for 3 weeks - hurray, hurray, hurray. So no wild partying for us.

We initially booked a table for 8 people in Mina A' Salam - 1400 per head.
They told us to pay within 48 hours of booking.
We then had another offer so decided against Mina A' Salam, 2 weeks later they ring up offering us the table for 8, but only paying for 6.
Desperate?
