It's not so much of the Iranians and the US 'tis what Putin will do, remember Putin is ex Soviet. His ambition is to bring back all the Warsaw pact countries within the Russian sphere, Just look at what his doing to Georgia & Chechnya. Little by little he is achieving the Soviet dream....

It amazes me that the US have issues with Iran meddling, but they have no issue meddling by supplying weapons to the Isrealis. At least they should supply the Palestinians a few pea shooters to make it even!

not really an issue when talking about Iran but most definitely a worrying problem at the moment.
You can be sure that the new President will be a puppet leader with Putin pulling the strings until he can retake his position in 2012.
