Saudi football team and the minute silence
Match in Oz . Aussies stand minute of silence for the London victims. Saudis do not , claiming it is not part of their culture to do so. They were in Oz though, and in Saudi everyone has to respect Saudi culture.

Saudi officials were adamantly opposed but CAF said go ahead so they had no excuse not to respect it or at least not to so obviously disrespect it. If nothing else it puts some context on the Saudi accusations about Qatar supporting terrorism.

Re: Saudis football team and the minute silence
Saudi supporters (not actual Saudis though, mostly Pakistanis) are justifying it by saying
"When was the last time a western team held a minute's silence for all the Muslims they have killed?"
The incredible absurdity of that statement actually explains why so much of the 3rd world is a ********

I'm surprised this hasn't gained more traction. I guess it might take a few days to gain a head of steam with all the other news at the moment.

Lenin once said the capitalist will sell you the rope to hang him with. Seems the West will do everything to tolerate the culture that seeks to destroy it.
