Default Saudi Binladin Group workers demand unpaid wages

RIYADH, March 29 (Reuters) - Scores of workers gathered outside an office of one of Saudi Arabia's biggest construction companies on Tuesday to demand unpaid wages, as low oil prices and government austerity steps pressured the industry

The workers, many from India, Pakistan and Egypt, scanned lists of names taped to a wall of the Saudi Binladin Group facility, checking whether they had been chosen to receive wages which, they said, had not been paid for up to seven months.

It's terrible for anyone not to get paid (especially for 7 months) and even worst is these guys are the lower end of the pay scale, where every penny counts.

to add, stuff like:
https://www.zawya.com/story/Saudi_mi...20160330032127

TAIF: Facing increasing complaints about high water bills, Water and Electricity Minister Abdullah Al-Hussayen has urged consumers to get permits to dig wells so that they can avoid paying the new tariffs introduced by the government in December.

Al-Hussayen was also quoted as saying by a local publication on Tuesday that the government had introduced several awareness campaigns to educate people on water rationing.

... and the massive reduction in money supply reported in Bloomberg today.

That's because your ethnic origin is different.

The law on clamping was changed or updated recently.

From citizens advice..

When your car can be clamped or towed away

It is illegal for your car to be clamped or towed away on any land, except in specific circumstances where the law allows it.
Your car could be clamped if it isn’t roadworthy, if you haven’t paid unpaid taxes,, fines or legal aid costs, or if you repeatedly park where you shouldn’t and don’t pay council parking tickets.
You can’t be clamped just because you spend too long in a car park or park where you shouldn’t have. You should only be issued with a parking ticket.
Read this page to find out more about when your car can be clamped or towed away.

The residents of Essex have the same mindset as the Saudi owners of the gold-plated cars. "Show them you are loaded."
