Saudi beheads housemaid
The barbaric kingdom strikes again, this time beheading a Sri-Lankan housemaid for allegedly smothering an infact when the maid was 17, a charge the maid denied.
These folks are impoverished and illiterate, ripe for such abuse. Their home governments are worthless in representing them.

Perhaps some of the BE members who live there can explain why they are aiding this nation in existing, like our government aids in its existence. I'd rather have a world of Fidel Castro than this.

oh, nice moral high ground position there buddy. I assume you don't own any cheap Chinese goods and boycott using all oil, chocolate, cotton, coffee, tobacco, diamonds and rare earth metals.

Usually poverty is a dam good reason for lack of compassion and violence but the GCC countries are quite rich, especially Saudi (excluding Shia) so wtf is their reason for being such world class scumbags.

That probably would have worked out better than what Britain actually did which was facilitate the Al Sauds (rulers of the desert backwater of Riyadh and the Nejd) gaining control of most of the Jazeera, including relatively liberal and cosmopolitan Hijaz...

I had always thought the Saudis were 200 years behind but seeing as France last beheaded a murderer in 1977 and Norway/Sweden had death by decapitation as capital punishment until the early 1900's maybe they are not.
