not tooty...but i guess you can spell it as tut-ee - that would be the correct pronunciation.

Dunno, I booked an XE and ended up with an XF for no extra charge. Great engine, it just doesn't stop giving, but the space in the boot was less than the Ford I drive in Saudi, not good for a family holiday. It also has a massive central column that my left leg never felt comfortable with. Space in the back is rubbish too.

Having said that, I did cain that car, and it never let me down once.

I had an XE a few years ago when in the UK for a wedding. I'd have it over the C-Class in a heartbeat and probably the 3-series too. Not driven an A4 to compare to but the XE was just really, really cool.

so folks i been looking at SIM cards in the UK with data plans - there is a package with 16gb for £30 and one for 8gb for £25.
I only really need the data for google maps, browsing the internet, and accessing emails, fb etc...will the 8gb be sufficient for that, or should i get the 16gb one?

Price of a pint? I’d go big just in case. You don’t wanna be stuck in the middle of nowhere without you maps otherwise you need to take a decision on which way to turn. You may never get back and then we’d miss mission.

Try the XF, also cool, but bigger, and more powerful.

To save me searching, do they do an XE with blistering performance, reasonable fuel consumption / CO2 emissions and 4WD? A friend at home as the 5-litre XFR (as the only car for him and his wife), and while I'm sure it's great I wouldn't fancy tackling Ilkley Moor's serpentine roads in it in the snow and ice...

8gb will be fine for a week.... but for a fiver I'd go for the 16gb and then you can stream netflix at will.

I only do the UK between April and October. Any other time is outside my temperature boundaries.
