how in the hell did this thread turn into a fungus cooking show?

another thing for room 101 - employers who are too chicken to say no after you've interviewed and instead just ignore you and/or say 'you will hear soon' for weeks on end..

I have one :
People who keep on changing lanes in rush hour, left then right then left then right again, JUST to get one car ahead, only to be bogged down in more traffic!
Please also include those who will go to the extreme left to catch a faster moving lane to come back right again and have the gall to turn on the blinkers so they can get ahead of the line, and vice versa! What does all this accomplish? Get home 5 minutes earlier to resume your shitty life?

Speaking of road manners: people who do not wave to say thank-you when you've deliberately stopped - even though there is no road rules saying you must- to allow them to merge/enter the main road from a gas station , side street, parking lot etc..

What's the point in anything Pica? Snow is joyful and clogs up commuting and means snowdays in the UK.

I've got another one, those of you I'm friends with on facebook may have noticed my post the other day.

People who don't say thank you when you've held the door open for them. I hate them. I absolutely detest them. Their parents hate them. Their kids hate them. Society hates them. I ALWAYS shout after them "You're welcome" and the tragic thing is 80% just look back at you as if you've lost the plot. Very few say 'shit sorry, thanks' etc.

Great. Just wound myself up thinking about it. Just what I need on a hangover.

I only hold doors open for attractive women. If they smile and say thanks I feel good, if they just walk past I get to check out their arse and legs. It's a no lose situation.

People who insist on entering the lift before you have managed to exit. WTF?

I always say something like "yeah don't let me out first...****ers!". Those with half a braincell usually look at me with a moonface, those without continue living in their own little world. I have had a few women apologise

I already do it all myself. Hence the above are just leaches on the mouldy foot of society.

Was on the metro last week.

Carriage was fairly full. I was near the door. It was amazing how many people tried to stampede on the train before the waiting passengers disembarked. It was fun watching the interaction between the ingress and egress crowds especially as there was very, very little room to start with.

Nah. I hold the door for anyone and everyone because it's polite and it's the nice thing to do. For some **** to just stroll through and not even acknowledge that there was even a door there is beyond my own comprehension. They must be abused.

Straight in.

Just eat more so you fill the door. In lots of average size lifts it's quite hard to get past me if I'm stood in the middle of the door. Which I will do, without moving to make the point.
I love being awkward.

You cannot possibly be a lawyer, an accountant and a real estate saleperson.

It's not possible. You do think you know everything, granted, but this is beyond reason.

Lies like this go into Room 101.

Other day…..

Got into an empty lift on the 24th floor, pressed 16.
Lift stopped on the 21st floor, woman got in, looked at the buttons then walked out with a look of confusion.
“Lift going down?” Then got back in.
Bear in mind there’s a display above the doors before you get in to tell you which direction it’s going.

Every day…

People pushing past others to get in lift before them, only to press the 1st floor so they have to annoy the people they pushed past to get out.

- Tarragon.
- Caramacs.
- "Tell me".
- People who can't speak English properly eg "I've been here since 5 years" Of all the Dubai-isms, that's the one that's guaranteed to make me die a little inside.
