Red eye flights
Any cures for getting over a red eye flight other than sleeping at your desk or getting jittery from too much coffee?

My brother-in-law swears on not eating for 6 hours before the flight and then not eating on the flight either. I've never tried this - I figure that if I'm going to feel crap, I might as well not feel hungry as well.

Coffee will send your insulin levels all over the place--stick to lots of water, vitamin C, nutritious meals and keep moving--just sitting at your desk won't help. Intellectual conversations with your 'net friends may help, alternatively just try to pick the bones from my drivel Have a couple of glasses of white wine and go to bed early.

I've heard that before, combined with eating the next meal at the correct time at your destination (i.e. lunch at lunchtime) Helps the jet lag, apparently.

Spugs- I refuse to take a days holiday to get over a work trip! I'd rather sit at my desk and dribble if needed!

I do, bollocks to that - we had 17 days on holiday then the missus went to work and I had another day off, in bed, chilling, playstation, nice bit of tucker - get in!

nope- absolutely refuse to spend a day in bed and use my holiday unless there is a delicious man in there with me.
