No, that's just another reason not to use public transport .
I miss propper beer, "Bishops finger" and "Speckled hen" along with warm summer afternoons spent in the pub garden (the one next to the river/in the park in Ross-on-wye, where they hold the duck race) complaining to friends about hosepipe bans. Also Fox's glacier and Polo mints

A similar one-way fare in Australia, say Melbourne to Wagga Wagga (369 km long trip) is A$25 or GBP 9.70 !!
