In 'English' English it is very 'Onomatopoeic' The only American Expression is 'Pass Gas!' - Seems a bit tame compared to 'Silent Killer' or 'Parrrrrrrrrrp!' - When of course, lifting one's left buttock, and saying 'More tea Vicar' is the 'Correct Etiquette!'
I believe that the House of Windsor has a 'Protocol Sheet' on Farting! - Probably written by 'Phil the Bubble!'
I am given to understand that the late Queen Mother was an 'Expert Farter' during later life!
