interesting article- I hadnt even thought of the ban of the burka and the impact on french tourism.
Makes you realise how used to it you get here- a trip to MOE or Dubai mall and you might see god knows how many super cars and dont even notice but in London it makes the news- think ive been here too long!
I bet the traffic warden that put those tickets and clamps on had a smile on his face as he did so.I used to hate london traffic wardens- miserable ****ers!

Near my house (as you know a very Emirati area) it is like a ghost town - seriously, no one around at all!!

Yep, would guess so. A number of my Saudi friends are here at the moment as they need to get holidays out of the way before Ramadan (they prefer to be home with the family during the holy month).
