One too many
So, how many is enough, how many is too many?
Sexytime partners in the UK - appears to be about 9 (Source: OnAverage)
Other surveys have come out with a lower number, some higher.
Some surveys ask how many they think the average is and the number is always higher than reality.
How many is too many?
Would it put you off someone if the number was too high?
How many do you say when asked, inflate or deflate to look better?
At risk of being called a snowflake or lefty, this is a far worse topic for women in terms of connotations.

You know my sexuality and let's say you're a healthy and fit man in your late 30s who's never had a serious relationship but averages 3-4 hookups a year over the last 20 years, well, you can do the maths. And form your own judgment.
*Not saying this is me but just pointing out this isn't uncommon at all.

Re: One too many
Nine seems low, but then again if you average out all the poor schmucks in the world living in small or remote ( or maybe religious) communities I guess it balances out the high numbers.
As for numbers, I couldn't care less what number of partners woman had (or a man for that matter), as long as they were healthy mentally and physically.

I think you're being a bit judgmental there.
(Mind you, it'd probably be worth giving a wide berth to someone with Cotard's Delusion, although I do think that I've had a few. )

So you shouldn't shag someone if she has misophonia, basorexia, Mary Hart syndrome (that one's weird beyond belief), auto-brewery syndrome, dysania, Stendhal syndrome, or exploding head syndrome?

Well he just can't really be trying at all...
I just read the thread from yesterday about the screwed up name on the flight ticket and I'm thinking DXBtoDOH may be about to choose murder of a BA ticket agent as his major vice as I'm afraid that sounds like it won't be easy to resolve at all and they may very well not allow him to fly onwards or at least seek a hefty name change fee even though the fault is all theirs....

I reckon an average of 9 in the UK is probably quite high.
I know loads of people who are at around 4. Start at 18, Couple of girlfriends, then Marriage at 26 and no cheating (at least admitted to)
Obviously the number is increasing given that its more socially acceptable to sleep around now, as is escort use.
In any event, in a world where we seem more bothered about who uses what toilet, I really don't think it matters all. More the better I say.
