But isn’t the punishment for apostasy death?
See why it's such a great plan?

Why don't we try "Kaffir for a month" and invite Muslims to have a beer and a pork chop with us in the pub?
Or maybe they could try being Buddhists, Christians for Jews for month and see how they get on?

Not exacly Muslim for a month, more Sufi (the soft hippy version of Islam) for a few days in Turkey. I know which of those options I'd prefer.
It sounds all rather 'walk a mile in another man's shoes' but it might actually help if it cut both ways...

From reading this article - its concentrating on Sufism which is a different kettle of fish to Islam.
Sufism is not Islam just as Islam is not Sufism !

Perhaps the organisers should try this scheme with the 2 billion+ alleged Muslims initially. It would be interesting to see whether they could adapt to ‘the Islam’ as opposed to their cultural bastardisation. I doubt the Saudis will be up for it as it would be too difficult for them to follow Islam.

Example: The doctrine of abrogation opens up the possibility of religiously justified violence. Take away that doctrine and it's a whole lot more peaceful (still just another arrogant bastardisation of Judaism though - just like Christianity). All this "interpretation" nonsense is the reason why these beliefs need to be swept under the carpet...or their "holy books" should be abridged to remove all possibility of misunderstanding. For example: The Jefferson bible...maybe we need a koran version of that.

I’ve read the parallels between Osiris, Mithra and Jesus. Someone should do a big diagram/family tree type thing.

Abrahamic religion got its creation myth from the Sumerian creation myth Epic of Gilgamesh, from when Semites conquered (and eventually wiped out) the non Semetic Sumerians of Mesopotamia.
