Re: Newbies....Introduce yourselves to the ME crowd
Hello, im Iggles. I have been in Abu for the past year. I was on a different forum (it was green) and kept getting banned because my banter was to much for them.
I am English and I hate everyone, especially people from Nuneaton.

Sorry Pa.
Technically it's above Oxford, which means it's Northern and people are raising whippets, calling each other duck and festering in their own mess.
That name is fantastic. I suggest you change it on here.

A snapshot of me
Hi,
My name is Adrian Henson.
I was an expat in Kuwait, Bahrain and Singapore for over 20 years.
I have worked for major companies in the ME and have also set up my own businesses in Bahrain until I shifted back to the UK in 2012.
I travelled across the whole ME region when resident.
I run my own businesses in the UK now and am interested in working in UAE.
I live life to the full.
Want to ask lots of questions about living, working and doing business in Dubai/Abu Dhabi.

Re: Newbies....Introduce yourselves to the ME crowd
ok, a boring serious answer!!
we arrived this year and struck me the night before christmas we don't know anyone here on the sunshine coast, wondering if there are any expat groups that meet up, keen to socialise, also with the kids - 11 - 17yrs. we ended up serving at a church for homeless people so really didn't feel alone. but good to catch up with a big group of people. if there isn't one in my area....Mountain creek, Buderim, Mooloolaba etc. I am keen to start one.
thanks and merry christmas ali and family

You want to meet people in Australia but as asking on a Middle East forum? Bit too much mulled wine?
