Hi Guys, as a single female I'm considering to move from Abu Dhabi to Doha. The package is great, what about living there, is it really that boring? Any help is appreciated

As a rule of thumb,Doha is seen as boring, and compared to anywhere in the UAE, it is. If you are prepared to accept that it is about twenty years behind the UAE, but improving all the time, and have a fairly open mind, then Qatar can be a place that grows on you. I know of several people who are twenty year+ residents of Doha. It's different, but endearing.

Thanks a lot OleJanx.

Is there any social life at all? Can I play tennis anywhere?

Yes, there is a social life, but a certain amount of caution is advisable in some quarters! As for tennis, I dare say the place where the Qatar Open is held is a good place to start, as are the better hotels, and it shouldn't be too difficult to find other places to play tennis.

Great! There are positive sides in everything!!! Obviously you can't have it all in Doha, really, but neither can you in the UAE. I'll try though

"Partner"? If you're not married, forget it.
