The new people
Is anyone else really happy that the new people have joined the Forum? Obviously it’s sad that EJ has closed down, but it is great that so many people from EJ have moved to BE.
There have been some interesting new topics, and lively debates, and it is just nice to see some new faces.
I feel that this place is being rejuvenated, and not before time.
So, “Welcome to the new people!”

Re: The new people
I agree - the forum seems to have "refreshed" a bit over the last week or so. More threads and more people commenting, which is good to see. I don't know if this is just attributable to the newbies because some of the older members seem to be making more of an effort as well.

Re: The new people
I can't say I have noticed anything different except maybe the proliferation of more puerile threads from the usual attention-seeking suspects.

Re: The new people
so I know which I would prefer.....if you think a thread is purile, there is no one forcing you to reply / post
and anyway, maybe Im wrong but isnt the Sand Pit supposed to be for purile stuff ?
If you want some serious topics of conversation shouldnt you be annoying The Middle East section instead of bitching on about us attention seeking suspects ??
