Re: New Mobile Phone
Fairydust I bought the cheapest Nokia that I could find - less than 300 dhs and it even has a camera well impressed with it to be honest

It's perverse, isn't it? The Heroes award for gross stupidity. I guess if we lose every week they're gonna rumble our cunning strategy.... Besides which, romantic dinners with Chris79 could be difficult to explain away

8800 Scirocco. Love it, ultra reliable, smart, doesn't scratch and weighs enough to not get lost! Bit expensive back home offline though and I don't think you can get the standard one here.

A new mobile...depends what you want it to do and what you are used to?
Have an excellent Sony Ericsson K810. It's very reliable, good call quality, fast menus, 3-4 days battery life...the best part around this is the excellent 3.2 megapixel camera with real flash. Very good quality photos...read any online review, you will see this is a good phone. Downside is crappy video quality and everyone thinking the world revolves around Nokia.
By coincidence then I also have the excellent Nokia E51. Business orientated phone...solid, reliable performance, very lightweight and slim, but a little tall. Again good quality with all the latest features for high speed data calls. Battery lasts for days, has built in wifi so if you have wireless internet at home or office etc. can connect and use various applications. Camera is crappy. Also excellent reviews online.
Both these can be had for around 1000 Dh.
Have had the bigger 'pocket pc' type phones but just find them huge and fiddly.

You talk about the W810 but your picture is a SE K810. I have a K810 and find it excellent. There are also many online reviews giving this phone a very high rating. If you had a slow K810 maybe something wrong, mine is fast and no problems at all.
