Mind your Language.
The 70s Brit sitcom that is
Me and family used to watch it in Abu Dhabi back in the 80s. Pretty dam hilarious.
Now I am curious why it was stopped in AD.
Was it because the series ended?
I recall a rumour that when the show featured an Arab , AD pulled it. Any truth to this?
I looked up Wiki for some info and they say the show was canceled because some people found it racist.

In other news, I have it on good authority, and I'm sure Confo will back me up - that the golden classic 'Allo Allo' was really bifg in Lebanon?

No...Allo Allo wasn't that big...MYL was tops, then Benny Hill...We also had Reggie Perrin for a couple of years...
