Man City have signed Adebayor.
Jesus they are going for it now, christ knows how much they must have paid arsenal and also paid him in wages.

Roque Santa Cruz... Tevez... Adebayor...
.......... yes, but when are they going to sign someone who ISN'T overrated?
And as for Gareth Barry............ he could have gone anywhere. Moron.

In 1999 Man Utd had in their starting line up had Yorke & Cole up front. Sometimes they alternated/rotated between Sherigham and Solskjær. Was a good strategy and everyone must remember what happened when Edward and Ole both came off the bench in Barcelona??

well they just need a few good quality central defenders now and really, they should be a good team. Ireland, Barry, SWP, Elano in the middle, Tevez and Adebayor upfront, Super Shay in goal, Kompany (when he gets fit) at the back with Bridge, and maybe Dunne and erm, someone else and that sounds a decent enough team.
I think.

Waiting for Hughes to pick a side for the summer friendlies containing more than 2-3 first team regulars to see if they can gel as it may take 10-12 games for that to happen. Not sure if Hughes will be given that amount of time...meanwhile, Lionheart predicts a 5-6th finish.

I'm not so keen on hughes, he can't control big name players - he will drop a few, robinihio and the likes and they will act like babies and complain and moan, they have a tendency to throw games away.
