the awkward moment when everyone around you speaks english but chooses not too...anyone else get frustrated by this?

Not at all.
In fact, there is nothing I like better than slipping into my Aberdonian Doric and conversing with a fellow sheep-shagger whilst the remainder of the company has no idea what is being said...

i'm talking about other europeans mainly...the asians have no idea what im saying so i can say what i want...but having to deal with clients or collegues...when they switch languages right in front of me to talk over me...really pisses me off.

Personally I have difficulty understanding Indian English. Why do they always speak so fast?
