Political statement or act of a desperate man? I would in no way compare this to immolations that threaten to kick off regime change, but based on the hammering of welfare claimants over the last week this story looks like it'll fill the national news later.

Blimey. Must be something in the air.
Some one did that last week around here, in a neighbouring town, though he parked in between two of the taxi's that town uses to get people to interviews if needed and set himself off inside his car.
