Default iTunes hints and tips

I'm sure I don't use it as well as it could be used.

Hints and tips, please

Do you use it with an ipod / ipad?

If so store your movies in there, then copy them across when you want.

Make sure you find a song you really love and click on the 'genius' button, it'll find lots of similar songs and stuff you may have forgotten about, and when it makes you a genius playlist you can save it and even copy it onto your ipod.

Put the nice visualiser on when you are playing tunes on your mac, looks nice in the background.

Along with the visualiser - if you have downloaded loads of stuff but don't have the album artwork - iTunes now has the option to search for the album artwork. Does a pretty good job at it.

Genius is fantastic

And if it doesn't find the artwork just search for the album in Google images, then copy/paste it into the bottom left of the itunes window, where the artwork would normally be shown. This should then be carried over when you next sync.

It's a bit nuts really - I've had various iPods over the years, but suddenly I find myself with 160GB ipod, iPad 1, Mac Mini and the wife has an iPhone 4 and ipod nano and she now wants an iPad.

I bloody deserve some shares....

IF ONLY the iPad had an SD card slot, I wouldn't actually need to sit in front of my computer... ever!

I've got a friend who showed me all the super-fandango bookmarking and highlighting that the iPad can do with books... OMG! That would make my studies soooooooo much easier!
