Default Iraq inquiry is going to be conducted in Public

Mr. Brown took a U-turn today by giving the chief of Iraq inquiry commission the powers to decide if he wants to carry it out in public. Dont you think that could be a risk to national security?

Well, the chief of the Iraq Commission is almost certainly not a complete muppet and isn't going to make that kind of decision without getting an idea of what he's letting himself into.

I haven't heard about this u-turn yet.

BBC just reported it and they said Brown is paving the way for a public inquiry in response to the pressure from within Labour.

Wheres the 'Insert Neck in Noose' Smilie?

Either way IMO Brown will hang himself, he can't do right for doing wrong and he is in a no-win situation!

The fat lady is clearing her throat...............and not before time, resign gracefully Brown and least maintain some dignity!

Too late for that now. Although the general perception is that he opposed Blair in going to that war but in the end it was still him who released the finances.
