I have a bad feeling about this...

I found this particularly ominous:
"One of the things we need to go away and think about is what this incident tells us about how we defend our faith in the future. We’ve been passive for too long in the face of mockery of our faith and discrimination against us as Catholics."
Just the beginning? Will Nike have to withdraw Cross-trainers? Will we be prosecuted for referring to that occasional Premiership side as The Saints? Will theatres no longer be able to refer to their upper galleries as the gods?

Those complainants really need to get over themselves. No doubt just a small group of deluded whingers, but Pret probably got more good publicity than bad over the incident..
I may start a protest over a fictional character in a fictional book being used in advertising myself soon.

Well, as somebody said in the comments section ...they eat the body of Christ and drink his blood...(although it's some wafer and juice, the idea is odd enough IMHO), and they are worried about chips?????

When I was a kid, those dry old wafers used to cleave to the roof of my mouth and I could never get them off. I was terrified to stick my hand in and manually do the job, as it were, so had to do awful contortions with my tongue and cheeks to get it down. I wonder if Jesus (for it was, after all, he) preferred the finger or the tongue?
