Better estimate further down the page:
"A recently released 2014 salary guide by Robert Half Middle East said that salaries in the UAE and the Middle East are expected to go up by an average of 3.8 per cent next year,"
I had to laugh at a tactic employed by an 'agent' when a workmate was trying to renew his rental which is currently 68k and they're asking 105k. "But we have had a letter from the government stating that all expats will receive a 20% increase in housing allowance". Yeah right, pull the other one it's got bells on.
