The new tar road will make It easier to get there and with that ease will come more shit and debris. Perhaps it's best if the signs aren't put up. Discovered last night that there are some, allegedly, nicer pools 10 mins from where we turned around so that's a bonus for next time

I am getting quite good at spotting which nationality has dropped their shit. Thats rather depressing really.

No idea at all mate. Only Europeans there when we went. They, like us, took any shit and a bit more of other peoples when they left. Big shame it's spoilt by the shit left and a HUGE water tower thing.

Some friends of ours went to Hatta Pools last weekend. Said they were nice, but very full of relaxing "sub-continentals", all men. Made the one woman in the group feel rather uncomfortable, with a large number of eyes following her every move. They didn't stay long, but found, quite close by, some very nice wadis which were completely deserted and quite relaxing.
