Happy 42nd Birthday...........
......... to 'The Godfather', which premiered in New York City on 14 March 1972. [Actually I'm a day late - sorry]
Every time I see an opinion poll asking the public for their all-time-best or all-time-favourite movies, 'The Godfather' is either top or very near the top. My view, for what it's worth, is that it is certainly a great film in many ways but gets a bit rambling and long-winded when it could be building up more tension.
What about you lot?

The rebel in me doesn't want to be part of the 'OMG The Godfather is like the best film ever' club.
But it is pretty awesome.
