Gift ideas
Hi all
It's my hubby's 30th birthday coming up in Feb and I have no idea what to do for him or get him. Any ideas please?

Whoa! Ain't seen you in ages. Still slumming it down in AD?
I could tell you lots of wonderful gifts for your husband but the mods might come along and tell me to clean up my act
What does he like to do? Some kind of activity are popular gifts. Skydiving, for example. Dune bashing with mates. Etc.

That's the tricky thing he doesn't like skydiving and already done all the dune bashing stuff in the 7 years here! I just have no clue at all

Re: Gift ideas
Go with me on this one....
Cuff links. Penny / Coin from the year he was born.
If he wears them for work and appreciates them then they're a great present even if not the 'main' one.
Not my company (obviously), but just ordered for a second time from them yesterday for my Dad
Otherwise, Yas track day would be sick.
Golf?
Holiday?
Weekend away somewhere?

Was thinking of sorting some golf thing for him and friends with drinks included just not sure how to go about it!
Also holiday was thinking of that but may be tricky as he works away and having just had Xmas off I'm not sure he can have time off but will look into it.
Thanks for the suggestions

Birthday weekend gataway? Posh hotel in Dubai with full views of the Burj from your room (make sure there's floor to ceiling windows ) or Qasr al Sarab in Liwa? Sir Bani Yas island gets stellar reviews.
Dhow tour in Musandum? Long day from AD but always a good time. Hire a private dhow of your own? Probably better to drive up to Musandum Thursday night (long day, yeah) but then you'd have all day Friday for the dhow trip, and return Saturday. Stop at the booze shop at Barracuda on the way back
Or perhaps do a surprise party for him? Have a bunch of your mates go up to Dubai too, and then bring him up and walk into the restaurant and bam, there's all his mates and paint the town red that night. Dubai is very good for that sort of thing.
