Friday Brunch - Dubai
Friday brunch to take two visitors, any suggestions please. Quality food rather than loads of drink I would imagine, for them anyway!

Re: Friday Brunch - Dubai
Good point - some of them might not be doing brunch at all during Ramadan as it's during daylight hours. So on second thoughts Rowell they're probably better off going to an Iftar meal instead. I can highly recommend Ewaan at the Palace - went there on Thursday night with some friends and it was great - the terrace tent is the best area because it's not as busy as the main restaurant bit. Then cocktails at Thiptara afterwards to watch the Burj Dubai fountains

They dont arrive till next Saturday (19th)so Ramadan will be over the following Friday (25th) so they should squeeze 2 in if they want to.

i thought spectrum on one was quite good, it was over a year ago though, they probably have too much choice actually.
it goes from roast beef all the way through to mongolian yak stew then back again !!
traiteur will give you a 25% off voucher to eat there in the evening if you brunch there and also its verve cliquot champagne, its better for the heartburn!!!!

We've not tried Zuma yet, but heard very good reports about the brunch.
If you want to play safe I would say Mina Salam or Al Qasr (I prefer the atmosphere at Mina Salam).
