Default Films I have watched this weekend.

Die Hard 4.0 - completely preposterous but immensely enjoyable.
Fast Food Nation - scary and has put me off burgers for at least a week.
Hot Fuzz - absolutely brilliant. Hilarious.

The final sequence in the slaughter area is awful. I came out of the cinema dazed. There was one other guy in the screen with me. Everyone else was in the food court.

my DVD hawkers came round yesterday well before i even made a dent in my previous purchases! Bought DH4, can't wait to see it - also Goblet of Fire (though the description on the back was of LA Confidential rather then Hogwarts - but either would be good). Loads more, about 8 in total!

what I actually watched - Football Factory

I've learnt not to buy them unless they've been at the cinema at least a couple of weeks

Saw this at DIFF last year. Was distinctly underwhelmed by it. But not sure how else they could have translated the book. My thoughts were they should have just left it as the book - which is much more worrying than the film.

I watched Transformers over the weekend. Apart from the ridiculously obvious car ads which pepper the film. It's a fantastically enjoyable, brain off, enjoy giant robots fighting experience.
