Famous people you know...
...well, their namesakes at least.
I know:
1 Aladdin
2 Aladdin (not related)
3 Charlie Parker
4 Glenn Miller (and he's married to Helen, as was THE GM)
5 Paul Newman
6 Michael Jagger
7 Nicholas Alexander
8 Maria Callas (OK, that one doesn't really count coz it only sounds like that if you say her surname quickly enough. Mum was an opera singer.)
9 Mr Miyagi

When you say 'know them'. How well do you know them? i.e. do they just happen to live in the street or can you go and pop in for a tea?
On the basis of the latter, I only know two, Jay Aston and her husband Dave.
When I say know them... I built a porch with Dave and baby sat their dog a few times, and used to go out with them.
Oh, and then there is me... I share the name of someone famous (first and surname)

Used to work with a Dick Long. Not remarkable in Basildon, but would've been fun if he travelled to, say, Japan where they always say your surname first.
