Default Euro 2012

Who's going to win / do well / be the surprise outfit?

Personally I can't see much past Spain, although Germany, Netherlands and Portugal (less so because of their group) all provide a bit of competition.

Dark Horse - France.

Oh, I've also bastardised a template and attached it for those of you who want to be proper geeks.

Not sure.

They'll play Germany / Netherlands in QF

Then Spain in semi.

(noticed the chart has QF instead of SF...my bad)

It certainly won't be England. Quite frankly I don't really care who wins so long as there are some exciting games along the way.

My euros are on Spain (quite literally) to win, although i'ts always good for the nuetrals and the game in general, if there's an underdog / dark horse that does well.

slight thread drift....

anyone see the Panorama program on the right-wing movement that will be there to welcome all travelling fans ?

That Panorama programme was utter shite , it will not affect England fans really .

Proper thugs havent travelled overseas since the introduction of travel bans and section 5 orders and the local firms over there are just wannabe's pissed up on the local vodka . They'll be a few black eyes and a few stabbings but no major disorder .

People will stay away because Poland and The Ukraine are just shite places to have a major tournament .

My mate got stabbed in the arse in a bar in Dusseldorf during Euro 88 , i was lucky because i'd just went for a piss and he was standing in my place when a load of Dutch came crashing through tooled up. Good job it was standing then , he couldn't sit down for a month !

Euro 88 , Italia 90 , Euro 92 and France 98 all had big time trouble , the games up now , only wannabe's follow England abroad now .

Are you currently serving an international tournament ban?

If so, will you be in Qatar when the WC is on?

I went to all the best ones , i missed out on Japan / Korea because i was working in Abu Dhabi and no i'm not on a ban . I will be nowhere near Qatar in 2022 that's for sure.

My mates still got that scar on his arse from that Dutchman though

Back to original question - Germany would be the surprise this time (youngest squad of average age in whole tournament). That probably means they'll win.

Who said Spain? I can't see it - weaker than for some time, I think. Russia??? Because they beat an Italy who have gone so far downhill that the mountain rescue party have called off the search??? Who have they got that will turn over the others?

Stick to Germany - it's usually a safe bet.
