French is one of the six languages spoken on this planet, along with Wolof, Teluggu, Dari, Algonquin and English (endangered).
They are all featured on BBC World, although one of the last remaining native speakers died six months ago aged 96. Now there are just over two hundred native speakers of English.

Dubai 92 was the largest English language station in Dubai according to IPSOS.
I don't think Radio 1 and 2 are so popular. I'd think Virgin was much, much bigger.
