The End of Britain?
Got this sent to me the other day from Moneyweek, OK, very alarmist but they do have a point, has Britain really got debt of 900% of GDP? Will a future government have to rob the savings of the people (as they are doing in Italy/Greece/Spain)?
It's a long one, but raises some valid points - anyone want to comment?

My initial reading of that was- what a load of cobblers, about 1 step up from the Sun in terms of 'reporting'

I guess if you took into account UK debt plus unfunded liabilities such as pension provisions and PFI commitments and the like then it would be approaching somewhere near the figure quoted by Moneyweek. However, with Carney at the helm and an endless supply of ink I guess the UK will pull through. Sterling on the other hand ....
