Default Eid Planning - never too early

So its the time of year to start planning the end of Ramadan break.
I forgot to look at the moon last night to get a definitive guesstimate, but from what I can tell:

Start of Ramadan - Friday July 20 (ish)
Eid Al Fitr - Sunday August 19 (ish)

So my question is should I book my holiday to begin from Thursday 16th August to take in as many public holidays on Eid break?

I see Emirates have a sale starting tomorrow and had reckoned I might get a cheeky trip to Sri Lanka in.
