Default Eid Holidays - Totally confused by this story

When Eid in UAE is expected to begin | GulfNews.com

If I still have the ability to read, it says that if Eid falls on Sunday, back to work Wednesday, however if Eid falls earlier on Saturday then its a whole week off. I think someones been smoking something

I'd love a whole week off. Pray for holiday and pray you're reading of something so confusing may be the right interpretation....because I'm blown if I can work it out from that.

Try this: Long weekend: When will Eid Al Fitr be this year? - What's On Dubai

Seems that the expectation is that for most people in the private sector it might be an extra two days for Eid al Fitr this year. Possibly, maybe, subject to confirmation etc.

It would appear it could be 2 or 3 days for Private.
Hoping for three.
Expecting two.
