Early mornings
I have the joy of starting work at 8am- just wondering what time every one starts- I hate 8 am - first alarm goes off at 6 and it's like raising the dead every morning!

Re: Early mornings
05:30 is normal wake up time back home, kids are in school just after 7am. Waking at 6am or just after whilst working in Doha is almost a holiday! Getting to work for 8am is no problem.

Re: Early mornings
Officially I am on the 8.00-16.30 shift - in fact, I go in later (8.30-ish) and stay till I feel I've been screwed enough, then I go home (or, increasingly, to Bridges Bar in the Fairmont).............

Re: Early mornings
Have been at work by 8am for the last 16 years. These days I wake up at 6.45am and do 30 minutes on the exercise bike before shower and breakfast. Leave home by 7.45am. Back home before 5.15pm.

Re: Early mornings
Official start time is 8am, usually in the office by around 7:45am.
Official finish isn’t until 6pm, which sucks balls.

Re: Early mornings
Normally get up at 545am with the wife and end up in the office by 730am. Generally try to leave the office by 430-5pm so I'm home shortly after. Most of my customers and contacts are in banking and tend to finish at the same time or before me.
Cant be assed with the people in my office who wander in around 10 pretending that they stay half way through the night. I have returned to the office after a late meeting etc around 6 and its always deserted. Lazy gits.

Day off today, so posting on internet forum in daytime
I'm up at 5:30am, in office at 6:30am, leave at 3pm. That way I miss the rush hour traffic in both directions.

Re: Early mornings
If I'm in the office then its 8 - 6 in theory but more like 8:30 - 6:30 in reality.
If on site, leave home at 8ish and get back anywhere from 3 to 8 depending on location and what I'm doing.
