As Americans, Israelis and Palestinians continue their endless peace-jockeying, a more hopeful solution has emerged. It is a fresh Arab initiative that depends neither on America nor Israel.

It is Dubai.

That article is a propaganda masterpiece for Dubai - it mentions Dubai's social freedom (trying kissing your girlfriend in public or ask anyone who lives there what happens when an unmarried woman get's pregant if you want examples of "social freedom")

Why don't the surrounding Arab states just take in the Palestinians, make them citizens and forget the whole thing?

Oh wait, they can't do that because that would mean admitting Israel exists and has beaten them in several wars and isn't going anywhere...which must be why Jordan recently started taking away the citizenship of Jordan's of Palestinian descent...they actually want to keep them as refugees forever it seems so they can use them to have a reason to keep sour relations with Israel. Seems they all want to keep fighting rather than go for peace and then build up trade and good relations to the betterment of all sides.

Idiots on both sides...the world should let them all kill each other.
