and in the wedding day you even need some witnesses
is that correct?

I can't see that this is rational .. cause the outcome of this kind of unrational marrige will never be a child ... (adopting is something else)
so i don't consider this marrige.. it is just stupidity

registering marrige in a special office ... having witnesses during the marrige day..
then..
why all this hassle ?
they don't believe in religions .. and marrige was always a spiritual religous thing.. regardless of how or where it is done ...regardless of the arrangments and details .. but marrige has always been a spiritual religous thing.
lets say it is not a spritual religous thing...
what is the meaning of marrige to an atheist?

I am saying
one important reason for getting married is to have kids in the future (up to them to decide when)
and this can only happen between a male and a female.
male to male marrige or female ot female marrige can never succeed to bring out a child.

In many European countries religious ceremonies also have to be backed up by civil services.
