We don't do starters at home, so...
Roast sirloin of Wagyu beef, medium
Roasties, home made Yorkies, medley of carrots, brocolli, beans and garlic
pan made thick onion gravy
Home made Bakewell tart, with either cream, custard or iced cream

I make an awesome lasagne and an amazing noodle soup. Also rather splendid at poached eggs.

In a similar vein you can't beat quelques toasts avec des haricots.
However Millhouse I am getting worried about you, the joie de vivre is gone. The typical self congratulatory ex pat mindset is missing, the boastfulness has gone, the consumerism, the my car is bigger than your car comparisons, the my job pays more than yours, what's happened?
