Dear Santa

Re: Dear Santa
Dear Santa: I am a a modest fella, so a 2008 or 2009 Chevy 2500 HD or 3500HD crew-cab pickup would suffice.

Re: Dear Santa
I find that anything late 80's / early 90's and aggressive generally gets attention in mall car parks.
I got a bollocking at the weekend for playing Joe Budden - Porno Star (google the lyrics, it's a fun song) at 1yr olds birthday party. Don't leave me in charge of the music if you don't want the kids educated.

Roller skates no longer required as I've just bought some in blighty.
Now all I want is ... A gaming controller for the PC.

Re: Dear Santa
I have 9 close family birthdays between November and first week in January, also a new grandchild due just after New Year. I live on a UK state pension & a small work pension. I am frugal with myself & look after my things. Damn it -I even shop on ebay!!!! I watch my grown up children treat everything I buy or give them with no respect whatsoever. I'm tired and dismayed by it all. A £600 chinese rug ruined within one year and rolled up in the corner of the bedroom. From now on Mum/Grandma's account is going to see sense. Putting these thoughts into words has made me even more cross.

Re: Dear Santa
Who got what then?
I got the cash I was hoping for, and some more so will be splitting for new golf bag and lessons. Very pleased.
Lots of socks, which I like. Some loud too which make up for my lack of personality.
Some nice pocket squares for posh occasions.
Some cigars.
A clip on fish-eye and macro lens for the iphone which is fantastic.
Family all loved their gifts too which is great.
The best present, as it is every year, is the calendar I make Mum and Granny with plenty of pictures of me from the year.
Did everyone have a nice time?
Get their chosen gifts?

I had a brilliant Christmas.
I got my gaming controller (for my b'day but that's close enough) which I was very happy with.

Got my cheque
Two books.
The real Christmas 'gift' was the whole trip to France with the family. Excuse me while I go run off all that foie grois and macarons and Chateauneuf du Pape

Well, actually I don't really game much - and I find PC gaming a pain in the arse compared to the xbox.
That said, I've also just got an origin access account - it's good value. FIFA is fave, along with PVZ2

I grew up with PC gaming, then SEGA, then PS, but never much into Nintendo. You can still get Nintendo games like the DS and Wii (while fun they are much more aimed at the younger market)
