Re: Cup Final
I watched it in Bidi Bondi, at half time the table full of Man City fans actually left and went home. That said, none of them had any hint of Mancunian in there accents (but all had on the spangly new shirts).
It was a great game and I'm just pleased Sunderland were not humiliated. The Man City goals were quality, to be beaten with opposition goals like that is nothing to be ashamed of

Just sobered up,brilliant weekend
City fans didn't bother with London on Saturday night, its old hat to them and they have many trips to pay for, the ones we did bump into were spot on though, great atmosphere everywhere
Sunderland fans just went a bit mental

Re: Cup Final
What are my chances of being able to successfully hijack this thread and redirect it toward the Scottish League Cup Final on the 16th March?
For what it’s worth it’s between Aberdeen and Inverness Caley (their first ever national cup final), at Celtic Park. Aberdeen have to date sold circa 35,000 tickets, of which I have one, and we’re expecting to sell out our allocation of 40,000 over the weekend.
A week today I fly out of here on a cup final pilgrimage, it’s fair to say I can feel the cup fever building already.

I know a few people who went down but they all pretty much went down on the Sunday morning rather than going on the Saturday as well.

Awesome. Proper Cup Final that sounds like mate.
I shall now pay attention to the result and support Aberdeen.
